YULETIDE: Rep. Nkwonta Puts Joy On Constituents, Doles Out Cash, Rice And Reassures Of Quality Representation

Ahead of the Christmas and New year celebrations,the Honourable Member Representing Ukwa East and West Federal Constituency and the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Climate Change ,Hon.Chief Chris Nkwonta has assured his constituents of his utmost desire to give them a quality representation at the National Assembly.
The Federal Lawmaker who stated this when he held a Christmas meeting with his constituents at his Akwete-Ndoki Country home, Ukwa-East Local Government Area, promised a better service delivery in 2024.
Chief Nkwonta who distributed bags of rice and cash for Christmas to the leadership of PDP in the various Wards and Local Government Areas that make up his Constituency,reiterated that every fund allocated to his Constituency would be utilized to ensure adequate infrastructural developments in the area.

According to him, the distribution was designed to help alleviate the sufferings being faced by his Constituents occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy and to give the people a sense of belonging before, during and after the festive seasons and to show appreciation for their massive support during the February 28th National Assembly election in the Country.
The Lawmaker assured that he will continue to discharge his legislative duties to the satisfaction of his constituents and solicited their continuous support for an effective legislation.
The Federal Lawmaker who said that he has moved five motions and presented one petition on the floor of the National Assembly, urged his constituents to be patriotic and expect more governmental projects in the area during the 2024 budget implementation while maintaining that whatever that is due his constituents would be given them without delay unlike what was witnessed in the past.

Meanwhile, the people of Ukwa-East and Ukwa-West Federal Constituency hailed the Federal Lawmaker, adding that he has performed creditably within six months in the House of Representatives.
In their separate remarks,a former Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly,a one time Chairman, Abia State Oil Producing Areas Commission (ASOPADEC), Rt. Hon. Emeka Stanley and the Member Representing Ukwa West State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon.Godwin Adiele, said that Rep. Nkwonta has outperformed his predecessors, adding that Ukwa people have not seen quality and sincere representation in for a long time..
They decried the high level of hardship in the country, applauding Nkwonta for doling out bags of rice and cash for Christmas celebration.

They prayed God Almighty to bless and guide him as he continues to offer qualitative and effective representation to the good people of Ukwa.
The exercise which commenced on Friday 22nd December, 2023 will continue with other notable groups, associations and individuals in the Constituency..
