Hope High British International School, Abakaliki has achieved another milestone as it’s students who sat for the 2025 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination ( WASSCE) Cleared all their subjects with high grades.
Speaking to Journalists in Abakaliki, the Principal of the School, Wisdom Elezuomba attributed the success to quality teaching and learning going on in the school adding that the school’s serene environment and modern equipments provide all it takes for effective academic exercise.
Elezuomba further noted that the zero tolerance to indiscipline and non performance policy of the school is an added advantage.
” In Hope High School, we don’t tolerate truancy of staff to class and students too.
” All our staff are always at work and we have quality teachers who are ready to teach.
” We also send our teachers to On- the – Job training for further knowledge from time to time. This keeps them updated on the modern teaching techniques” . Elezuomba said.
The principal revealed that out of over 150 students who sat for the examination, only two students did not make credit pass in English and Mathematics.
He advised parents who wish to give their children and Wards quality education to come to Hope High British International School adding that the fee policy of the school is considerable in tune with the prevailing economic circumstances.
A parent whose child passed through the school, Dr. Nwankwo thank the Management of the school for the appreciable academic standard found in the institution.
Dr. Nwankwo recalled that Hope High since it’s inception several years back had remained steadfast in its premium standard policy which according to him has been the secret of the school’s innovative success.
Meanwhile, the School has scheduled entrance Examination/ interviews for new intakes.
A release by the school shows that the examination/interviews are slated for Saturday, 30th August 2025 and Saturday 6th September 2025 at the School premises while time is 11. am each day.
The release further states that the entrance Examination is for those wishing to enroll into Pre Nursery, Nursery, Primary and Secondary sections of the School.
