Again, Aba Residents Hail Gov Otti Over The Rate Of Ohanku Road Construction
RESIDENTS OF Aba, the commercial nerve city of Abia state have continued to pour encomuim and praises to the Abia state Governor Dr. Alex Otti for the speed and quality of work going on in the densely populated Ohanku road of the city which was abandoned for over 40 years leaving residents in perpetual pain and suffering.
So far construction work has reached the impassable Owerri- Aba axis of the road and it is like a dream and magic to the people as work has continued unabated despite the rain without any excuse either from the contractors or the state Government as has been the case hitherto with previous administrations who have always used the rainy season as an excuse year in year out.
For a labour party stalwart in Aba South LGA, Hon CY Ohamaeze who spoke to Topnewsngr, he said ” if you want to die come to Ohanku road and talk bad against the Governor Alex Chioma Otti and the people will stone you to death”
He congratulated the Governor of the state, His excellency Alex Otti for leaving upto his election campaign promises.
Hon Ohamaeze who is a resident of Owerri- Aba in ohanku road said that for the last 40 years, the people of ohanku and it’s environ have suffered untold hardship as a result of the deplorable nature of ohanku and it’s adjoining roads, but Governor Otti has within one year started a massive construction of the roads.
He maintained ” Talk bad against Otti within Ngwa/Ohanku roads, people will stone you to death”
Hon Ohamaeze who is the chairman of the non indigenes in the area,said that ” he is organizing a 1million solidarity match in conjunction with tricycle and motorcycle operators for Governor Otti in appreciation for his kind gesture. If he is not kind hearted, he will ignore the road like other past administrations and nothing will happen, people can only talk how they like”
Hon said “judging from the way Governor Otti has performed within this one year and three months, by the time he clocks three years in office, Abia Will be a role and Abians will forget not in a hurry the wasted years of the previous administrations but will continue to support the Governor to make the state par heaven on earth ” he concludes
Another resident of the area who is the chairperson of food sellers Association, Mrs Chinyere Okere who has lived in the area for over ten years said ” Dr Alex Chioma Otti is God’s sent to the people of the state and his works are obviously and glaringly speaking for him. You can see his works and Aba people are solidly behind because he is working for them and the entire state”
She said ” go to Portharcourt and hear what people are saying about him positively and that is the same all over the state. Light has come to Aba and darkness has disappeared and we are grateful to God for the birth of a new Abia.
