VAL Day: Council Chairman Commends Gov Nwifuru For Prioritizing Workers’ Welfare

The Chairman, Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Chief Emmanuel Ajah has commended the leadership qualities of the Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon Francis Nwifuru especially by prioritizing workers welfare and that of retired civil servants on the State.

In his Valentine Massage to the people of the local government and the State, Chief Ajah called on the youths of the local government to embrace peace and shun all forms of social vices and violence as no meaningful development is witnessed in an unhealthy environment.

“As millions of people around the globe come together every 14th of February to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I Chief Emmanuel Ajah Ogbonna, while in the mood of love has declared that there is no greater love than prioritizing workers’ welfare just as Governor Francis Nwifuru has done in Ebonyi State.

The Council Boss who described Governor Nwifuru as a Workers Friendly Governor noted that the N100,000 Christmas bonus for all Ebonyi State Government workers last year had rekindled the spirit of commitment, dedication to service professional conduct in the service delivery of the workers.

Chief Ajah expressed the optimism that there will be greater turnaround in the health sector of the State following the health provision of SUV operational vehicles to the medical doctors in all the 13 Local Government Areas of Ebonyi State.

“It is popularly said that People Don’t Care How Much You Know Until They Know How Much You Care, our dear Governor has shown to the people of Ebonyi State how much he cares for them, the monthly payment of pensions and gratuities of retirees in the State is an eloquent testimony of the love of Governor Ito the people.

“The gesture extended to retirees in the State is first of it’s kind in the State and it has gone a long way to show the indisputable demonstration of love to the people from the Governor who cares more for Ebonyi State workers’ welfare.
