Again, Aba Residents Hail Gov Otti Over The Rate Of Ohanku Road Construction
RESIDENTS Of Aba, the commercial nerve city of Abia state have again poured encomuims and praises to the Abia state Governor Dr Alex Chioma Otti over the rate and speed of work at which the construction of the densely populated Ohanku road which was abandoned for over 40 years.
Construction work on the road has reached the impassable Owerri- Aba axis and many residents are marveled that such a feat can be done under the rainy season in Aba.
A labour party stalwart in Aba South LGA, Hon Cyril Ohamaeze who spoke to Topnewsngr at Owerri- Aba said anyone who talks against Governor Alex Chioma Otti along the Ohanku road risks being stoned to death.
He congratulated the gov of the state, His excellency Alex Otti for leaving upto his election campaign promises.
Hon Ohamaeze who is a resident of Owerri- Aba in ohanku road said that “for the last 40 years, the people of ohanku and it’s environs have suffered untold hardship as a result of the deplorable nature of ohanku and it’s adjoining roads, but Governor Alex Otti has within one year done a massive construction of the road”.
He said ” Talk bad against Governor Otti within Ngwa/Ohanku roads and people will stone you to death. The residents are so happy with what the Governor is doing “
Hon Ohamaeze who is the chairman of the non indigenes in the area,said that, he is organizing a 1million solidarity match in conjunction with tricycle , motorcycle operators and other unions for Governor Otti in appreciation for his kind gesture.
He said ” If he is not kind hearted, he will ignore the road like other past administrations and nothing will happen, people can only talk how they like.”
Hon Ohamaeze said ” judging from the way Governor has performed within this one year and three months, by the time he clocks three years in office, Abia would have restored it’s lost glory and become a role model to other states in the country and a heaven on earth “
Another resident who is the chairperson of the food sellers Association in the area, Mrs Chinyere Okere said Dr. Otti is God’s sent to the people of the state.
According to her ” the Governor’s magnificent performance within one year as Governor is Crystal clear and can be attested to across the entire state even beyond Aba”
She said ” We thank God that we now have a Governor who can make promises and keep to it . Look at how road constructions are going on across the entire state even under the rainy season. It is like a miracle to us”
