EASTER: REP NKWONTA FELICITATES CONSTITUENTS AND CHRISTIANS
The Member Representing Ukwa East/West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Climate Change, Hon. Chris Nkwonta has felicitated his Constituents and Christians on the occasion of Easter Celebrations in Nigeria.
Nkwonta, in a statement made available to the Press by the Head, Media and Communications in his office, Dr. Chidi Nwankpa, affirmed that Easter Celebration epitomizes the supreme sacrifice made by Our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of cavalry and His glorious resurrection to redeem mankind.
Thus, he called on his Constituents and Christians to reflect on the significance of Easter – a special season of Sacrifice, Rebirth, Faith, Hope and Love.
Nkwonta further enjoined Christians to use the Season to recommit themselves in serving God and practicing God’s commandments of treating fellow human beings with Love and Compassion.
