Rep. Nkwonta Felicitates Constituents, Nigerians On New Year
THE Member Representing Ukwa East and Ukwawest Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman House Committee On Climate Change, Hon. Chris Nkwonta has congratulated his constituents and the entire Nigerians for making it to the new year 2024.
In a Special New Year message signed by the Head, Media And Publicity in his office, Dr. Chidi Nwankpa, Hon. Nkwonta thanked God that Nigeria having gone through the election processes of 2023 and surviving the crunching economic situations of last years and remaining an indivisible entity is capable of turning around all it’s socio-economic and political challenges.
Hon. Nkwonta called on his constituents and Nigerians to remain positive and hopeful that the Present Government is determined to churn out programmes and activities that would cushion the hard economic effects of past years and make life more comfortable for the masses in 2024.
He said ” l am not ignorant of the hardships and economic challenges faced by our people in the past years but there is great assurance and hope that the National Assembly and the Presidency will synergise in all areas to ensure a positive impact on the lives of our people”
He said ” Nigeria is a positive work in progress and with the Present team of leadership at all arms of government, there is a strong hope that the fortunes of the country will witness a turnaround in due course”
Chief Nkwonta assured his constituents of sustained convivial relationship stressing that the mandate given to him to represent them at the Green Chambers will be fruitful and impactful for posterity.
He said ” l presented myself to serve my people and very determined and focused to actualize the hope and mandate reposed on me by my constituents. l only ask for patience and understanding for surely the future is very bright and colourful”
He thanked the his constituents for their support so far in the past few months and urged them to sustain it as he operates an open door policy that gives all assess to him at all times.
