HON NKWONTA FELICITATES EZE EVANS OKERE ON HIS CORONATION
The Honourable Member Representing Ukwa West and East Federal Constituency, Hon Chief Chris Nkwonta has congratulated HRH EZE Evans Nwabueze Okere on his coronation as the Traditional Ruler of Umuiku Isi-Asa Autonomous Community in Ukwa West Local Government Area.
The Traditional Ruler who was coronated as the Isi-Ala Asa the second of Umuiku Isi-Asa on Thursday 21st December,2023 was nominated by the community following the vacuum created as a result of the death of late HRH EZE Timothy Edwin Agu who died eight years ago.
The Federal Lawmaker conferred with a chieftaincy title at the epoch making event as the ‘ONAPURU AGU IHE OKPU’ for his philanthropic gestures to humanity, appreciated the Traditional Ruler and his Council of Chiefs for finding him worthy to be conferred with the chieftaincy title, promising to uphold the virtues of the Traditional lnstitution.
Hon Nkwonta who used the occasion to thank the people of Umuiku Isi-Asa Autonomous Community/Ward for their massive support during the February 28th National Assembly election assured of his readiness to attract meaningful developmental projects to his Constituency, describing the honour done him by the community as a call to service..
