TRIBUTES AS LATE MRS DORIS OFFOR IS COMMITTED TO MOTHER EARTH

Dignitaries from all walks of life gathered at Akwete-Ndoki in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State in honour of a virtuous woman,late Mrs Doris Ihuoma Offor (nee Nkwonta), as her remains were committed to mother earth amid eulogies and tributes on Friday, November 17th.
Delivering a sermon during her funeral service conducted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Omininite Soberekon described the deceased as a committed Christian mother who served God passionately in truth and honesty,noted that her exemplary life of commitment and devotion to God and her services to mankind will be greatly missed and uged christians to live a life worthy of emulation while on earth.
The Pastor further said that late Mrs Doris Offor was an epitome of peace and demonstrated an outstanding love for Christ and humanity particularly,in the Amazing Grace Parish where she worshipped while advising her family not to mourn like those without hope but to uphold her sterling legacies..

In his tribute,the Honourable Member Representing Ukwa West and East Federal Constituency and a cousin brother to the deceased,Hon Chris Nkwonta described his late cousin (Mrs Doris Ihuoma) as a woman of inestimable value in all ramifications and a virtuous woman who demonstrated the ideal attributes of a true child of God in all her dealings and relationship with those that came in contact with her.

Hon Nkwonta “she was an inspiration to so many,a goal getter,and a selfless person with a heart of gold.Sadly,she left where there were still a lot of milestones to accomplish as i reflect on the symbolic visit and last moments we spent together in my house shortly before her demise”.
Late Mrs Doris Ihuoma Offor was a retired Customs Officer who served the Nation meritoriously before her retirement and was aged 73.

She was survived by three children and a host of other relatives.
